Cherry County, NE – The Sandhills Area Foundation announced that its annual fundraiser will be held Saturday, November 21st at the Cherry County Fairgrounds. Happy hour will begin at 5:30 pm CT, with dinner slated to start at 6:15 pm CT. As usual, dinner will be followed by the silent and live auctions, and then attendees can get in "Kahoots" with a trivia contest. Former SAF scholarship recipient Claysen Davis will DJ from 8:30 - 10:30 PM. The foundation looks forward to strong attendance from community members, donors, and local businesses to come together to support the Foundation’s mission.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be directed toward the Foundation’s programs, including local scholarships and community enhancement projects. These initiatives continue to play a vital role in strengthening the social and economic well-being of the Sandhills area.
“Tickets are $75 per person and include a catered meal from Valentine's newest restaurant, The Draw Bar, two drinks and dessert, and are available from any SAF Board Member,” said Carolyn Moore, Executive Director of the Sandhills Area Foundation. “We are deeply grateful for all donations for our auction, and everyone who contributes their time, talent, or treasure to our organization. Each contribution makes a tangible difference, and we are deeply grateful for the ongoing support.”
