Sandhills Family Feud was held on October 23rd at the Fairgrounds and featured a delicious brisket dinner catered by Niobrara Valley Vineyards, drinks, a live auction and competitive rounds of Family Feud, Sandhills style! The event was a lot of FUN and raised over $20,000 for the grant and scholarship programs.  The Pollocks, Tooth and Nail, Water Works and Triple B's all bid to play Sandhills Family Feud and raised over $8,000.  The Pollocks won the tournament and The GRAND PRIZE which was a three-night stay in the Black Hills and a $500 gift card to Terry Peak Ski Area, donated by Dick and Lois Schneider and J.P. and Kimberly Johnson. They donated the trip back to be auctioned off, and it raised $3,500. THANK YOU to all who attended and made the evening one to remember! We appreciate your generosity and look forward to playing Sandhills Family Feud again next year.

The Live Auction featured:   1/2 fat steer and processing donated by Duane and Danita Kime, Danielski Farms and Valentine Locker; two tire tanks donated by Welder Welding; a 60" electric fireplace donated by Hometown Lumber; $1,000 Weekend Getaway donated by Ameriprise-Talia Benson and Sandhills Home Improvements; a guided fishing trip donated by Tyler Brown; a custom sofa table donated by Tim and Shelly Henderson, two gift certificates and six bottles of wine donated by Niobrara Valley Vineyard and one dozen custom caps donated by Outback Screenprinting and Embroidery.

In conjunction with Giving Tuesday, Our Spirit of Giving online auction was held November 30th-December 12th. This year's online auction featured over 55 items and raised over $18,000.   THANK YOU!!! 

Featured items included: three-night stay in the Black Hills for 16 donated by Tom and Edith Schneider; half a processed beef, ready for pickup, donated by Duane and Danita Kime, Danielski Farms and Valentine Locker; one day road grater rental, includes operator, donated by Beel Construction;  processed pork, ready for pickup, donated by Hall and Hall and Heartland Country Realty; Merritt Reservoir lake party for 12, donated by Tim and Dana Colvin and Todd and Lisa Mathis; HG26 Glock 19 Gen4 ISRd Battle Worn, donated by Danielski Farms; 17 HMR rifle and ammunition, donated by Monty and Ann Neiffer and Green Mountain Grill, donated by Security First Bank and Reese Propane & Appliance.

Other items included: furniture, wine, home decor, massage, homemade schnapps, gifts for her, eight-hour guided fishing trip, hand crafted earrings, trucking, skid steer rental, Pendleton, feed bunk, gifts for him, George Paul Vinegar, gate levers, oil change and more.
